The remodeled Food Bank is open throughout the week and provides free groceries and essential household items. Students may also receive housing referral services from Pathways of Hope, which is a local non-profit that partners with the college.

Strengthening College Access for K-12 Students

Fullerton College has become one of the top choices for local graduating high school seniors largely because of strong partnerships the college has built with local K-12 school districts over the years.

The Offices of Educational Partnerships, which includes High School Outreach, Promise, the First Year Experience, Dual Enrollment, Administration of Justice, and Teacher Pathway Programs, work closely with K-12 partners to plan, design, and offer robust  programming for high school students throughout the year. In addition, many of the campus’  departments that conduct outreach such as EOPS, FYSI, Career Education, Campus Communications, and Disability Support  Services, maintain frequent contact with high schools and  K-8 school districts to provide presentations and tours for prospective students.

Local K-12 students can enroll in college courses at FC while still in high school under the dual enrollment and special admit programs, and the teams within High School Outreach and the Promise Program are instrumental in helping to successfully transition students to FC during their senior year of high school. A combination of intentional outreach, engagement events, and application workshops, all contribute to strengthening access for all K-12 students.

Some of the most significant events that take place for high school students include Jump Start, Future Hornet Days, Commitment events, Family Nights, and the annual Males Achieving Success Conference (MAS) which drew about 600 students from four local school districts this year. The popularity of the conference inspired a new conference for female students added in 2023.

In addition, Fullerton College continues to collaborate with K-12 school districts to identify potential academic and transfer pathways to build the next generation of Hornets.
